I'm going to wait. I have a remedy that will halt the progress of covid-19. For some people there are serious side effects. (from the vaccine) A doctor in Florida is dead, two weeks after getting his. His wife blames the shot. He developed a type of bruising on his skin that is caused by capillaries bursting under the skin. Then he needed to be hospitalized. A blood test revealed no platelets in his blood. The Hospital doctors couldn't save his life.

What is your remedy? I will take the shots as soon as they are available, with no hesitation.

China used a couple of traditional chinese medicines (herbal medicines) to halt the progression of the virus in those who tested positive. China also forced those who tested negative to take the herbal medicines. A scientific inquiry into one of these showed that a chemical ingredient (liquiritin) halts the progression of covid-19. Liquiritin is found in black licorice root. When I learned this I paid attention, because I had been using a medicine for tooth decay whose active ingredient is the extract of chinese black licorice. (Loloz with Cavibloc) After some investigation I learned that the professor who developed cavibloc, soaks the licorice root in water and then evaporates the water. A powder remains after the water is evaporated. That powder is what he uses in the tooth decay medicine. The Chinese were bottling the water that the licorice root was soaked in and distributing bottles of the water. People in Xinjiang province complained of having to drink it even though there had been no positive cases for a week. In Chinese it is called Gancao. I went a bit overboard with the Loloz. My gal pointed out that it is only supposed to be used for 2 weeks and then the instructions say to wait 6 months before using again. I learned the hard way that there are many other ingredients in cavibloc and some cause harmful side effects. One is anti-thrombitic. It diminishes clotting ability. Another reduces the level of potassium in the blood. Another raises blood pressure. One day, a skin tag on my arm that maybe I had scratched at in my sleep, began bleeding. I was sitting on the couch and I noticed that my arm felt wet. I went on reading the news on the internet. Finally after maybe 15 minutes or a half hour I checked my arm. The long sleeved shirt was soaked with blood and the couch cushion was also soaked with blood. I have never before had difficulty clotting. So this cavibloc should not be used as a preventative, it should be used as a treatment when the covid-19 begins. Last summer I had a persistent dry cough, a sore throat, and my forehead felt hot. I also felt tired though it was the middle of my day. So I put a Loloz lozenge on my tongue to dissolve it slowly and laid down in bed and took a nap. When I woke, all the symptoms were gone. My gal also uses the Loloz if she feels like she might be coming down with covid-19. She is a piano teacher and she has many students who come to her piano studio in the former dining room. She has each student wait until the former student is done and they stay six feet apart and wear masks. Even so, she knows that we are at a higher risk and we are both retired and on medicare. So we feel better knowing we have a treatment if we develop symptoms, that works. Here is a link to the Chinese study. www.globaltimes.cn/content/1187413.shtml"Research shows TCM liquiritin inhibits novel coronavirus replication in cells " (TCM is traditional chinese medicine)

I recall now that you've mentioned that before.

There was a crowded ferry boat that began sinking in the Ganges river. The majority of people could not swim. A person on the shore managed to throw a rope to the boat. The first people to pull themselves to safety were untouchables. The rest of the people chose to stay on the ferry and perished.
I say this as an analogy about how people react on social media when I tell them about China's treatment. They shun it because it was something that Chinese people used.
Not surprisingly the microbiologist that discovered the anti-bacterial property that kills the bacteria that cause tooth decay, is a Chinese-American. "What is now branded as Cavibloc was developed at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) by a team of researchers led by Wenyuan Shi, PhD, an oral microbiologist who chairs the department of oral biology at UCLA."

My reaction was just to say I recall your previous posts about the remedy you described. I had forgotten about it but I read everything you said about it before, read what others said and even looked into purchasing some. I wasn't dismissing your confidence in your chosen option. I intend to get the vaccine because it's what I believe will protect me and those around me the best. I hope to get the first shot the week after next. I had the opportunity to do it next week but I have a blood donation scheduled for Inauguration Day and want to do that before I get the shot.
Update: I am scheduled for my first shot next Wednesday at 4:00 pm after I make my blood donation.

Got the Covid shot today. Didn't feel a thing. They gave it to me through the door window of my truck. I didn't think to look at the needle but it had to be very small. It was all drive through. They make you wait 30 minutes in a parking lot for observation. They said if I started to feel bad to honk my horn. I just kind of leaned forward in case I passed out so my head would hit the horn. LOL. Just kidding. No problem at this point. I'll keep everyone posted as time passes. I go back February 17 for shot #2 It was the Moderna vaccine.

Well it's been a little over 24 hours since I got shot #1 and I've had no issues other than the normal injection site tenderness associated with any other shot. It's not a constant sensation. If I touch it or stretch my arm out I feel it. I've had no fever and have felt fine in every other way.

I meant to post this yesterday. I got the vaccine shot Wednesday afternoon (1/20/21) and I've had absolutely no negative reaction beyond that tenderness I described previously. That was actually gone yesterday, even when I pressed on the injection site. If anything changes I'll let you know. I have read some people report they've experienced some side effects after the second dose.
Those being reported are pain at the injection site, tiredness, headache, muscle pain, chills, joint pain, swollen lymph nodes in the same arm as the injection, nausea and vomiting, and fever.
I will post additional updates as time goes by and I get my second dose, so stay tuned.

I read this morning that the Moderna vaccine, which is what i received, has shown to be effective against the variants of COVID 19 that have popped up recently. It may be something to keep in mind. I haven't seen anything about the other vaccine's effectiveness. Still no issues for me.

Well I got the second shot of COVID vaccine this morning. So far so good. The shot felt about the same as the last one, so no problem there. I've read more people experience reactions to the second dose, so I'm just waiting to see how I feel in the coming hours/days. I'll report any issues.
I want to say the set up they have at the Fairgrounds is awesome. When pulled into the lot there were already several hundred cars lined up and I thought I'd be there all day, but they have the system down to a science. Other states would do well to come here and see how they do it. I arrived around 9:15 for my 9:30 appointment. They don't really ask what your time is. You just get lined up in rows of probably 30-40 cars. As the front row peels off to enter the two lanes where check your ID and log you in, the next row moves forward in unison. Checkers walk down the lanes and get you checked in. Once you enter the indoor arena area they direct you to one of five lanes that have two stations each where you get the shot. After that you're directed outside to penned in parking lot where they line you up again and check to make sure your okay for 15 minutes. After that, you're free to go. From start to finish I was there an hour and 10 minutes tops. You never even exit your car.

Well earlier today I was experiencing a stiffish neck and sort of a sinus type headache around my eyes. I can't say it was related to my second covid shot, but I can't say it wasn't. Those symptoms stuck around for a couple hours until I decided to take a couple of Ibuprofen. A hour or so later I was feeling normal, other than the tenderness you always get at the injection site. I'm more inclined to think it's this cold nasty spell of weather that caused my discomfort. If there are any changes I'll keep you posted.

They are now saying you need a third shot because of the mutation of the virus.
