My imagination will create symptoms, and I imagined I had some minor symptoms. It's typical for me to have a cold this time of year. There wasn't much flu going around but colds still make the rounds. I heard that Moderna is more likely to produce symptoms than Pfizer. I feel as normal now as I usually feel nowadays.

I had the second Pfizer shot on the 30th. They warned me that I might have more symptoms like a mild case of the flu. They said it's because the body has immune response from the first shot that activates in response to the second shot. I had a slight headache for about a day and diarrhea for about 2 days, and maybe a touch of nausea for the first day. I felt a little more tired than usual. Today is about normal for me.

My wife had the Pfizer vaccine. She's had both shots and had no problem with either of them. I had the Moderna vaccine. A day after the second one I had a slightly stiff neck and an ache around my eyes. I was not certain if it was shot related or because of a cold snap after several warm days. Either way, I took a couple of Ibuprofen and a couple of hours later I was good. I've had no problem since.

Well I checked the Red Cross app on my phone and the results from the covid test of last week's donation showed "reactive" meaning the antibodies were detected. I take that as a sign the vaccine is doing it's thing.

I get my second Moderna vaccination next Tuesday 4/6. I had mild flu like symptoms for a half day after the first shot. That is normal for me as I do the same with my annual flu shot. I hope that it’s not to bad as I am scheduled to play golf on Wednesday.

They recommend not taking anything like ibuprofen or acetaminophen a day or two before the shots, but I would take a couple before bedtime on the night after the shot and you will probably be good to go on Wednesday.

That is my plan. I have read not to take anything prior to the shot but that after is okay.

had both shots. Had a fever most of the second day Moderna or Pfizer? I had Moderna and had a very brief stiff neck and discomfort around my eyes after the 2nd shot, but I couldn't say for sure if it was the vaccine or the sudden change in weather we had around that time. We went from shirt sleeve weather with the truck windows down to below freezing and snow almost overnight. I took two ibuprofen and was good to go after a couple of hours. My wife has had both shots (Pfizer) and other than a tender arm, she had no problems.

I was freaking out about it. But the key was taking Tylenol after receiving the shot.

Just got home from getting my second shot. Kirk it only took 32 minutes from the time I entered the parking lot to being released from the observation lot.

It’s Moderna. So far I am doing fine.
