Jesus Christ stated that there is only one way to salvation. That is through Him. He spoke of other religions, including the Jewish religion. The new trend is to accept any and all religions and say that they too lead to salvation. While this may be politically correct and popular it is not true. The Bible states that Christ is our rock and salvation. It mentions no other religion being able to do this. Corruptions of primitive truths abound. Being spiritually discerned means having knowledge of the truth of Christ. Our relationship with Christ is spiritual. There is a big difference in being of Christ and being religious. Only a born again Christian can be of Christ, a religious person can be anything. Being religious will not lead you to salvation. Only Christ can do that. Many religions do not even believe in Christ. Big difference.

Many religions do not even believe in Christ. Big difference. Is the Bible wrong ? That just depends on which chapter and verse you deem most critical to you.
Most Christians base their belief and salvation on John 3:16 " That who so ever believeth in HIM shall not perish, but have everlasting life. If you take the sentence structure into account, the 'HIM, would refer to God . Who shall ever believe in God shall not perish, but have everlasting life. However, there are other verses which state something slightly different. Romans 10:11-13 ESV / 9 helpful votes 'For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” It is not a 'new trend' to accept any and all religions. Far from it. There are many religions much older than Christianity. I personally would never take it upon myself to say all other religions who do not specifically believe in Christ are wrong. They believe in God. That will be revealed in time. Until that point in time I will leave that distinction to God.

Believes in who? Christ. All other religions do not believe in Christ. No it is not a new trend, at one time no one on the earth believed in God. None. They were all other religions. I feel confident based on what the Bible says, to believe, that all other religions who do not believe in Christ are wrong. God says who ever does not accept my Son has not accepted me. He says that the way to Him is through His Son. You say they believe in God. God says you must believe in His Son Christ. It is in the New Testament over and over again. To deny that would be a lie. There is one way to salvation, that is through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. There is no other way. That is a Christian. If you take Christ out of Christian then they are not a Christian. Salvation comes through Christ. God has already made that distinction. In the New Testament, it says that over and over. There is no way you can miss it or misread it. He states it as a fact. And yes it is the newest fad, being politically correct. Tolerance and diversity. There is no religion older than Christianity. It was from the beginning of time, before anything else was. It was called Wisdom. Christ says He was with God in the beginning, before the world was. That is pretty old.

Him refers to Christ. Our savior. Who said that? God did.

You are entitled to believe whatever you want. I do not agree with you, I am entitled to do that.

Christianity is dated 33 AD That is light years younger than some well established religions.

Take off your blinders. Christ was with God when the world was made. Read it. It is in the Bible. Can't go back much farther than that.

I'm speaking of Christianity from a chronological POV And your POV of Romans ? Romans 10:11-13 ESV / 'For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between the Jew and Greeks for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. There is no distinction between anyone who chooses to believe in Christ. Regardless of what religion or race they come from. Who calls on the name of Jesus Christ, who is our Lord and Saviour. Jesus Christ is the Lord of all, Jew or Greek, pagan or any other religion, when they turn from their religion to Christ they are all one and the same in Christ. Who is Him? Him is Jesus Christ. Why is that confusing? There is only one way of salvation to the Jew and to the Greek, that is Christ. There is no Christianity without Christ.

Call on Christ. He makes no difference in any of His children who turn to him regardless of their past religion or race or anything else. In Christ we are all one.

Literally speaking, that is not what Romans stated It stated those who call on the name of the Lord. If you think the name Jesus Christ was implied then fine. I'm taking it on literal translation Romans 10:11-13 ESV / 'For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” That particular verse does not make the distinction.

The Greeks could not call on God. They were not acceptable to Him. None of the gentile were. He is referring to Christ, that Christ was rejected by the Jews, therefore God made Him available to the gentile. So " there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, they are all of the Lord. The Lord Jesus Christ. You have to read the whole chapter.

He was telling the Jews that NOW God made no distinction between them or the gentiles if the gentiles accepted Christ. Where we were not allowed before we now were because the Jews had rejected their Messiah.

The Jews were being snotty, stating that under no circumstances could gentiles be accepted of God. So Paul is telling them that that was yesterday and now, since they chose to reject Christ, God was offering the gentiles the opportunity to become one with Him. We can through Christ.

The Bible is true but can not be taken literally. Up until the book of Isaiah the Jews believed in polytheism, that being that there is more then one God. Yahweh had his own wife (Asherah). For what ever reason the scribes edited out the polytheism in the Bible and it became a monotheism religion. It's easy to find out if this is true, Google it. There's a lot of errors in the Bible, a lot. Like Paul said you have to rightly divide the word of truth. I am a Christian, I have preached but It is what it is.
