It looks that way.

I don't think either party has anyone worth anyone's serious attention, never mind serious trust.
Trump is not an established politician, and on that basis makes more sense than any of the others. This is no time to be proving that a woman can be president or picking someone on the basis of electoral votes (like Ohio's governor).
It seems like now is a time to throw an outsider into the presidency and find ways to circumvent the office.

circumvent the office? Sounds like a recipe for disaster.

circumvent the office? Sounds like a recipe for disaster. It's been done a lot in the past.

And generally it leads to disaster.
We need someone that is qualifited. Cruz, Carson, and Trump are not even close to being quailified.
As to trying a "woman" during this time.
It isn't about whether Hiliary is a woman or not. The only question is whether she is qualified. In my opinion, she is immeniently qualified. You will have to decide for yourself whether you agree or not or who you think is qualified. But her being a Woman has nothing to do with her qualification.

I suspect that once the primaries start to happen we will see whom will rise to the top. As to Hilliary? She may or may not bomb next year. Qualified? I suspect that the more information about what she has hidden from the public will come out. For myself, she is a tough sell as being "imminently qualified".

The GOP has nothing but a bunch of scraggly misfits.

"Jindal graduated from Brown University in 1991 at the age of 20, with honors in two majors, biology and public policy. ... He applied to and was accepted by both Harvard Medical School and Yale Law School, but studied at New College, Oxford, as a Rhodes Scholar." That "Rhodes Scholar" business has a familiar ring to it. Seems like it was a big selling point for someone named Clinton, the, uh, first half of the team. Wikipedia D*mn shame he dropped out, but it rather verifies he's not stupid.

Jindal is out of the race. Oh, you already said so. Nevermind.

Jindal's mismanagement of the state that he was governor of, Louisiana disqualifies him. If he did what he did to that to the US, the US would be a third world country.

FYI: I just ran a search on "Jindal's mismanagement" and looked through two of the top stories that came up, neither of which was exactly "mainstream." The first thing I would say is that Louisiana's laws are not based on English Common Law as most states are, so how what he suggested would play out elsewhere is not really known. And, the second thing I might mention is that I have already said the thing to do is put an outsider in there and circumvent the president (as needed).

He stripped education of it's funding. He so poorly mismanaged the budget that he couldn't even pay for the election. The state is so disatisfied with his performance that he wouldn't have even won his own state. Further more, een the republicans recommended the democrat for governor, one of the stated reasons was that Jindhal gave the republicans a bad name the way he handled the finances.

(Sigh) My parents did not own house until I was 17 years old, but with some help from my father, I (and he) paid my way through 16 years (plus some post graduate work) of private (Catholic) education. There were times when he didn't have a job and my mother was doing other people's laundry to pay the rent. Now, I do believe there's a need for general public education, but the bottom line is, anyone who wants to get an education will find a way to do so. Next?

Well a family can emigrate to a European country (there are many) that provides free college education. Then the entire family will also have free medical. If Trump is elected they might accept refugees from the U.S..
The most intelligent thing that Jindal said was his warning to the Republican Party. "We must stop being the stupid party. I'm serious. It's time for a new Republican party that talks like adults. It's time for us to articulate our plans and visions for America in real terms. We had a number of Republicans damage the brand this year with offensive and bizarre comments. We’ve had enough of that."
