I have Anthem health insurance and they've been hacked. The plot thickens.

So has Florida Blue, previously known as Blue Cross I don't have this insurance but many, many Floridians do.
It may be a good idea to contact all your financial services and give them a heads up so they can red flag any suspicious activity. Or have them reissue you new cards with a different acct no.
There is another scam going around. Someone will contact you saying they represent Windows tech dept, then ask you to go to your computer and log on etc.. I noticed the phone number showed 'caller unknown' I asked how he got my phone number since mine is unlisted and he would not say. He kept insisting that I log onto my computer. I hung up. Someone else called later that afternoon , number also unknown, running the same scam. I told him to call my other number and I gave him the number for the non emergency police. I haven't heard anything else from that one.

When they use Robocall they don't have to know your number. If the caller knew your name I haven't a clue, but they could have associated the number with your name from another hack. I usually don't answer 'caller unknown' or 'private caller'. Once I had someone call me using my own number, and I've also seen them use 123-456-7890!

It looks like Anthem should be responsible if any thing happens. I didn't lose my personal formation, they did.
I have Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
Anthem says we can expect a letter within two weeks.
