New International VersionIt is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore. How Pleasant to Live in Unity!… 2 It is like the precious oil upon the head, Coming down upon the beard, Even Aaron's beard, Coming down upon the edge of his robes. 3 It is like the dew of Hermon Coming down upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessing-- life forever. Psalm 133:3
To live in unity? Is it possible? The Bible says it is.

If it is possible to live in harmony, then would there be no apocalypse in the future ? Would peace negate the need of the terrible things seen in Revelations ?

It May be they are conditional probabilities. God has repented before. I doubt it but just saying.

Man's DNA seems to be programmed towards violence. Peace and unity are foreign.

Man's DNA seems to be programmed towards violence. Peace and unity are foreign. Violence seems to have gotten it's roots early in man's existence. When people started living in groups, extended families or however you choose to describe the earliest of groupings. There was violence over food, violence over a mate, violence over shelter violence to determine the alpha male... well you get the point. I think that's where it started and it has continued till this very day. We are still a violent culture, maybe not so much as individuals, but for dominance in the international pecking order. We either want what another country has or we don't want another country to have what we have. Maybe it is in the DNA

Unity of the faith. Faith comes from hearing the Word. This just does not only mean to read it or go to a church where it is preached aloud, it has a deeper meaning. A meaning that allows the Word to divide asunder the thoughts and intents of the heart deep within a person. We then can reach a point where we no longer fall short of the glory (δόξα doxa) or opinion, judgment, view of God. We begin to think with the mind of Christ and the unity we seek begins to come to fruition.
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
John 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
