I get 6 to 8 telemarketing calls per day and it keeps increasing. I got one lastnight after 9:00 pm. My Mom gets them on he cell phone. They're aggravating.

I also get 6-8 per day. Most of them various types of scams. Worst of all the robocalls that leave message on the answering machine.

There is a 'no call ' registry you can call to have your name put on the no call list. Then if the calls continue you can file a complaint I'll see if I can find the number. I was at my wits end, just like you said, one telemarketing call after another, and I pay for an unlisted phone number. The first thing I always asked was " Where did you get my number ' ? I wanted to know who was selling my information. Of course I never got an answer.. Here is the link with the numbers and website www.donotcall.gov/

My name is already on the no-call list, and has been for years. It also does no good to report the numbers, because they can spoof any number they want, including your own phone number. I've seen them use 123-456-7890, for example.

I'm on the no-call list also. It didn't help.
I had one guy called here and told me something was wrong with my computer and it was messing up the server and needed to be changed in a hurry. He wanted me to let him into my computer and he said he would fix the problem. I might have been born yesterday but not last night. Nooooo!

If it's something that needs to be fixed, I will originate the call. If i'ts a matter of finance I go to the institution in person. I do not bank nor do any financial transactions on line. Identity theft can only take a few seconds to accomplish, but takes a life time to correct. I also have my credit card companies call me to confirm any charges over 250.00
