OK, am I going to have to send out an APB for you all ? Where is everyone, and why no talk ?
It's sad when no one here, I mean NO ONE replied to the RIP for victims of 9-11.. all those refrains of " Let us never forget " seem to have fallen on deaf ears.

I'm not ignoring the site. I usually reflect on 9/11, as I watched the towers fall in real time and knew thousands were dead. Matador seems to have left the building. Tinny too. Not many others left.

I wish there were more peeps in here, but skylar you are AWOL for 3 or 4 days at a time. We should all make an attemp to post something every day or this might dry up on the vine. Yes, I was absent for 3-4 days, and shouldn't even be on the computer now according to my Dr I had emergency Glaucoma surgery on July 31, with complications. My pressure the morning of the surgery was 42.. now I know you know a thing or two about glaucoma, so I don't have to explain why that was an emergency. Because my tissue is so degraded from the RA, my sclera split into four directions when he made his initial incision. I still have stitches all over my eye. And besides all that I had exceptional swelling and a Choroidal detachment. Because of the detachment, I had to also see a retina specialist. That issue is slowly correcting it's self as the swelling decreases. So Dr's orders... No bright light, no lifting, no bending over, AND NO READING FINE PRINT ! My husband increased the font to 'huge', but he ( my husband ) still fusses at me when I use the computer. I'm hoping to have the stitches removed soon, this week hopefully. This is the second glaucoma surgery for me, one on each eye. Thank goodness I only have two eyes ! I have an Express mini shunt in the right eye ( 2008 ) and a tube shunt this time in the left. I'm still having those killer headaches, but, and maybe this is just my imagination,I think they are becoming less severe. Then when I recover from this surgery, it's back to the extreme dry issue. My corneas are scratched from the dryness. ( I'm having a Lipiview and LipiFlow treatment ) which is not covered under any insurance, to the tune of somewhere around 3000.00, so I certainly hope it works. That's a lot of money down the drain if it doesn't So for a half blind woman, I'm doing my best. Everyone has his/her own personal health issues, and I don't like to dwell or publicize mine, because mine are trivial compared to some others. Oh yeah, we did go to our condo in Port Orange for a week the first of July. I forgot about that. My husband is the commandant of all things electronic while on vacation. He's threatened to confiscate our granddaughter's phone and i pad. LOL..I think she would suffer extreme emotional distress if he ever carried through . So do I get a 'pass' ?

Mishka still pops up in politics though not as often as before.
Don't know about Matador.. or Tindalus Do you remember a guy named Op Dog ? His real name is Phil. I've lost his email address. Phil is a great guy and I loved his posts back on Insight.

Don't know Phil.
You poor dear you have your share of eye problems, I hope it all works out well for you. I have eye issues myself plus the breast problems. I use to say if it's not one thing it's something else but there starting to gang up on me. Oh yeah, I give you a pass this time. (smile)

Did you mention having breast problems before, or did I just miss it somehow ? Anyway, I hope it's nothing serious.

They have been checked out and they are cysts and are harmless. They said if they get sore they will drain them. After all they did how could they not be sore. It all worked out well...after scaring me half to death.

I've had several breast biopsies, thank God they were benign

As a former combat vet it is etched in my mind and in my heart. They were at war with us and still are. 9/11 is just a prelude to some future events.
