I guess you're talking to me, I'm not a Republican. I turned 47 the 9th of this month and I've always voted and I've always been a Democrat and a liberal. I'm still a Democrat but I'm more of a moderate now. I've watched the liberals ruin this country and make the working man and woman a second class citizen. While those that do not work or produce recieve perferential treatment and live off the fat of the land.

Corporate tax is imposed in the United States at the federal, most state, and some local levels on the income of entities treated for tax purposes as corporations. Federal tax rates on corporate taxable income vary from 15% to 35%.
BTW, the word 'Republican' is not spelled with a lower case 'r', and you have no basis for telling me I don't know what I'm talking about. For one thing, I know that proper nouns begin with an upper case letter. You do remember covering proper nouns don't you ?
(tindalus: And finally, remember the old saying that a chain is only as strong as the weakest link? ) You just made a crystal clear case against Affirmative Action. Our 'chain' has been considerably weakened by a policy that orders employers to award jobs based on race instead of qualification.

What are chances that Darren Wilson will get a fair hearing? Odds are he will become a sacrificial lamb in order to appease the black community. Liberalism at it's finest.
Anarchy......A state of disorder due to the absence or nonrecognition of authority.

I read where after the St. Louis County medical examiner did her autopsy, the Brown family hired Shawn Parcells to autopsy their son. He has been accused in the past of fabricating his job title and conducting autopsies without a license. Parcells is not a pathologist nor is he a physician. It would seem his credibility would be near zero.

What you're saying sounds like Ineptocracy....It's a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producting, and where the members of a society least likely to sustain themselves or suceed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers. You haven't any idea what you are talking about. This country was built on the fantasy that hard working people make a living. The corporations prevent that. So do republicans. They have made sure that the workers have no voice and no control over their income. They work hard and they live in poverty. The fantasy that the poor are lazy is just that, a fantasy. What you have today is the corporations don't want to pay for the services that are provided for them. Whether it is the roads, sewage, utilities, etc. Or the military that we fund to protect trade routes, The legal system that deals with their law suits, or the foreign services that pave the way for their goods to be sold. But they don't, and the republicans and apparently you seem to think that they shouldn't have to pay for those services. And finally, remember the old saying that a chain is only as strong as the weakest link? That's the situation here. If you continue to weaken the people who live in this country, then our country is living on borrowed time. Rome went through this, and we are making the same mistakes that Rome did and we will fall because of it. Boy, you throw out all the straw man arguments. Many of the poor ARE lazy. Why? Cause the govt. and the Dems make it easy and financially profitable to be lazy. Look at the states with the best welfare programs. They are also the ones in the worst fiscal shape. Why do you think a quarter of the country's welfare recipients live in Ca.? It's easy money to do so. Do Corps not pay property taxes? Do their trucks not pay fuel and road taxes? Do they not pay utility bills? How can you say they don't pay for those services? Most cities and utilities charge the highest rates to big businesses. They subsidize the individual homeowners of the community. Why should corps pay 35% tax on profits made in other countries, when they also have to pay taxes to those foreign govts.? No other country taxes multinational companies for profits earned outside their borders. Why are you satisfied in getting no taxes on offshore profits that are kept offshore, where you could get much more in taxes if the tax rate was cut in half and trillions of profits that were kept overseas, were brought to the US? Try doing the math and see how much more the govt. would get in revenues if the rate was reformed. If we fail, it's due to the greed of Dems. They want to look good handing out freebies at the expense of hard working Americans. As to who is trying to help the poor? This may provide a partial answer. www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2014/08/democrats-still-seeking-the-bottom-of-the-low-road.php Dems want to keep blacks angry. By ignoring urban blight and education reform, they are doing so. How many of the poor live in Dem run cities?

The corporations take advantage of the government, their own workers, and take every opportunity to use the government to their advantage, and we all pay for it.
Living off the fat of the land? How would you like to live on welfare? It's not much money.
