I got the car back and it runs great, altogether it cost me 350.00 far less then I thought it would be. He had the head reworked, a new head gasket, new plugs, new timing belt. Now to get rid of it before something else goes wrong. I'd check with another mech if I were you to see if he actually did all this work he said he did. The cost of the head gasket alone costs way more than your total cost for all the other things he said he did. Something sounds fishy here . Maybe he used Blue Devil instead of replacing the head gasket... this is common.

I bought the car new and it runs and acts better now then it ever has. He told me he had 169.00 tied up in it. It looks like I have the car sold....someone in the family wants it.
Someone in my extended family is a millionaire (really) and they want it for their granddaughter. Hard to believe huh. Word does get around and everyone wants a deal.

Of course, it's your car and your business. ( none of mine ). but the truth of the matter is, no way did he do all the things he told you he did for the price you paid. A bottle or can of Blue Devil costs somewhere in the neighborhood of 60.00 That would be my guess. If that's the case then it's hit and miss.. It could last a long time or for a short time... who knows ?
