I prayed for nearly 2 years about a certain thing. I ask God to change the situation and do it in his way. HE DID IT. It wasn't exactly what I had in mind though. Now I'm sorry but I will never question God.

Can I suggest another approach?
Don't pray "for" anything. Pray to connect to God, i.e., to remember God. Ask, "What is it you want me to do here, Lord?"

That would be a safe prayer I guess. I found out a long time ago that if I pray and tell God how I want it, not a lot of prays get answered. If I on the other hand and pray and tell God, I don't care how you do it, do it your way, I get a lot more prayers answered.

I personally prefer His way over mine anytime, even in the face of what may appear to me as adverse. With prayer one must consider the cost and are we willing to pay that cost.
