I use 2 MP for all but the best and easiest to shoot pictures. IMO, any sharp picture at that MP will enlarge up to full screen size or 8x10 (for calendars) very well.

I can't hardly get my pictures on here. I have two cameras, one is 5 mp and the other 14 mp. I have to reduce the size of the pictures.

One of my horses Taken with a cheap 2mp Vivitar Is that a quarter horse ? I'm no horse expert by any means. I had a Welsh pony when I was a kid. Welshes can sometimes be a bit stubborn and sometimes high spirtited. I lucked out I guess, mine was gentle but prone to run if you didn't have a firm hand. Do you have other horses ?

I have two others but they are not broken. Every year or so the BLM will adopt out some of the wild horses captured on federal lands. If you get selected you can adopt one or two and they will also help support them by giving you $700 a year for feed and vet. One of my neighbors also has a couple and right now they are, with luck, being mated so maybe will have a colt or two. It is not easy to break a wild horse, but maybe they younger ones will be easy. I've had my two for about 4 years now and the vet said to have them bred.

I've had my two for about 4 years now and the vet said to have them bred. We've had several horses through the years, I'm speaking of my young years as a kid. Is a gelding easier to break? Seems to me they would be. They wouldn't have all that hormonal personality thing going on, or at least not as much All the horses we had were gelded and well trained for saddle riding.. My cousin had one of the most beautiful Appaloosa's I've ever seen. Black and white speckled. His name was Domino.. original name huh ? lol Are you going to have him gelded after breeding ? Sometimes a horse as old as four can still be a handful even after gelding. All ours were gelded as soon as they were old enough, at least the ones born on the farm. Horses are very intelligent and like dogs, they all have their own personality. I love horses.
