What brand of coffee makers do y'all use~? I have a K-cup and lately it's not brewing right at all, that is very little like 1/4-1/2 cup depending. I've called the company today and they told me what to do to clean out the part that you insert the K-cup into. Since that didn't work, I have to buy a descaling solution to clean it out, but I'm hesitate. Reading the reviews here on Keurig, I'm thinking it is best to just buy another machine. Any of y'all descale your machines~? www.keurig.com/accessories/keurig-descaling-solution#pr-header-back-to-top-link

lam very particular about my coffee.. but a coffee maker.., not so much
Pardon my ignorance, but you are talking about the coffee maker that use those single 'cups' or whatever they're calling them these days . My daughter has one, but I've just never had an urge for one. If you break down the cost per 'cup' as opposed to three scoops of regular coffee, in a regular coffee maker I'll bet that would make each cup of coffee in the individual coffee very expensive wouldn't it ?
I'd rather use my money for some high quality coffee, than sink a lot of dough on one of those fancy schmancy coffee makers.. but that's just me. I've had all sorts of coffee makers. I've found that the coffee tastes just as good in a cheap one, as one that costs mega bucks.
Now if you just want to discuss coffee, then I have my favorite brands.. Starbucks ( IMO ) is not one of the, I find that Mc Donald's coffee has a much better taste than Starbucks, and a heck of a lot less.
Any way, good luck with your coffee maker.. Have you tried running some plain white vinegar through it a couple of times ? I swear by vinegar, it has so many uses as a cleaner all over the house, especially in the kitchen

But for me it works cause I leave the coffee pot on and sometimes forget it when I leave. This makes one cup at a time and no forgetting to turn it off or no bad taste when I come for a second cup or more from a drip coffee maker.
