Last March I had to go for a Lexiscan at a hospital here. Before I went I looked on the internet and read everything I could about it. Different people wrote things about the scan and how dangerous it was and all the trouble they had had. I ended up scaring myself. The day I went for the test I was down on my hands and knees throwing up, that's how scared I was.
I had no problems with the test but when the results came back they weren't good. They set me up an appointment for a heart catheterization at another hospital. This time I never looked up anything on the internet I just went and had it done and it turned out ok.
My point is if you have to go through something like that don't listen to the naysayers and the doom peddlers. They only make it worse.

What might hurt one might not hurt another. I have had two heart caths and while some people I talked to had it done with a local and were awake I prefer to have it done after they put me out.

I was awake, I was waiting for him to get started and it was over. It couldn't have lasted but maybe 5 minutes.
After I went home I took the dog for a walk. It didn't bother me that much.
