I watched a TV preacher, he was talking about God like he grew up with him. I know God about as well as anyone else, yet, there are many things I don't know. Like I've read in Job it says, teach me what I cannot see. I do know this....God is what the word says he is, He's everything the words says he is.

John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

I don't believe anyone really knows God apart from his word. Of course there are those that claim they do. Smith Wigglesworth comes as close as anyone. He was once on a train and at one of the train stops he got off and washed his hands. When he returned to the train and walked in, everyone looked up....fell out of their seats onto the floor and started to repent....a man used of God.

As a conservative Pentecostal minister, I have seen many miracles and have had some for myself as well. Including individuals accepting the Lord after conversations with me. All done by the Spirit of God.

Maybe it's something lacking on my part or something lacking on the person's part I'm praying for. If you're in God's perfect will things happen but it's difficult to stay there. Again, Lord teach me what I cannot see.

I don't see how anyone can "know" God since God is above and beyond all creation. It is my experience, along with many others, to have a gnosis of God. The Greek word "gnosis" is knowledge that is communally experienced. In other words, since I have tasted strawberry shortcake with whipping creme and my community has done the same, we have "gnosis" or knowledge of the same taste experience. I am a member of this community, called His church a revelation of Who He is. God has audibly talked to me, caused me to leave my body and enter into the spirit. For over four and one-half decades now my wife and I "know" God as far as we have overcome ourselves. They that come to God "must" believe that He Is and that He Is a rewarder to them that diligently seek Him. We have been more than rewarded here. Spiritually, physically and financially. The greatest has and is the Spiritual growth that we have.

"God has audibly talked to me, caused me to leave my body and enter into the spirit." I have heard one or two others that shared the same experience. I have never, I'm too worldly I guess.

Actually at the time I was too worldly myself. Seek and you will find knock and it will be opened to you. I sought wisdom, knowledge and understanding of His word. what was the main spoken thing to me? " Keep My word". Within that small phrase is wisdom, knowledge and understanding of His Word.

Now, I sometimes get thoughts in my head like, "Go check that out" and it's usually worthwhile, but I don't see it as God speaking to me. I chalk it up to instinct verbalized.

I can't really beyond the idea that you have a sense that something is going to happen or has happened and your mind puts it into words in your head. Rough estimate about a big thing: you know someone close to you is not well. You aren't a doctor, so you don't know their condition, but one day you just "know" he or she died, and your mind puts it into actual words running through your head.

All of us, every last one has a connection to the spiritual realm. It communicates in and through us all of the time. Many are not aware of it or choose to ignore this. My wife and I along with others have chosen to exercise this and have found that the communication is improving. Since there is no time or space in the spiritual realm, the communication can be instant regardless of your location to another.

I have copied it as a thought to save for future reference.
