Yeah, I check in here from time to time. It's not exactly overrun with people. It seems people have drifted away.
Is anyone ready for Spring? I know anything can happen but we haven't had a winter yet. I can't remember a winter this mild.

I check in regularly. Spring is slow in coming, we still are getting some snow mixed with rain. Lots of fields flooding around the farms. Quite a number of mule deer moving up and down as the weather is changing. Crocus are up with no blooms as of yet.

So, we have four people who show up now and then, at least at this point.
Should we wait a little longer or assume us is it?

I have been quite busy at work with 3 years and months to go to retirement. We may move from Northern Utah to the west side of Nevada. This all depends on "family". Too close or too far? Some seem to have their hand out all of the time. We can no longer fill them and have little desire to do so.

I have been quite busy at work with 3 years and months to go to retirement. We may move from Northern Utah to the west side of Nevada. This all depends on "family". Too close or too far? Some seem to have their hand out all of the time. We can no longer fill them and have little desire to do so. Now my problem is getting household help. I can stand up and move some if I hold onto everything in sight (no holding's been medically timed at 30 seconds), but basically I live on a mobility scooter. I can do things, but it takes me four times as long as someone more able. I can pay someone for an hour or two a week, but agencies won't send someone for one or two hours. They want four hours as people getting medicaid can get that much or more and some places want as much as $32 an hour. There are often residents in the apartment building that do such work, but they seldom last for more than a couple of months, because of things like SSI comes through for them. So, someone starts getting the hang of the situation and quits and I have to start hunting all over again.

The Fuhrer will possibly cause it to get better. It's a matter of time.

I did not read the rule for current events about it being non-political. I will try and be more careful.
