Last night I put a Dr Pepper in the freezer for a while to chill it, then I forgot it. Before I went to bed I noticed it and it was frozen. The top and bottom were bulged out. I put it down in the lower part by the milk. I got up this morning and was thirsty and saw the Dr. Pepper and I reached for it.... I heard a loud bang, the can blew up, the top flew out and hit me in the chest, the drink went every where omg. I wasn't hurt but I've leaned my lesson.

The can looks like a diet DP. Diet drinks freeze faster and the aluminum can will expand until in cannot expand anymore. You thawed it in the refrigerator releasing some CO2 which cannot expand the can any more, BOOM!

Uh huh, it was a Diet Doctor Pepper. It sounded like a gun going off and what a mess I had to clean up.
