Sometimes having a well ordered clean house makes life more enjoyable. I do what I have to. Lately I have been buying free standing shelving units for the basement to reclaim floor area and to be able to find stuff. I intend to do that with the garage eventually, too. We have discovered that big items can be set out at the end of the driveway with a free sign, and they disappear. I got rid of a six drawer dresser, and entertainment center, and a fold up roll away box springs that way. It was a relief, not having to haul them to the dump. I set the iron pipes that I removed from beneath the basement floor a while back, in the driveway, thinking a relative could help me take them to the dump. They had been cluttering the back yard. Then I discovered a local recycler would pay me for those and the two 50 gallon metal drums that also cluttered the back yard. So with little effort I had some beer money.
