www.rawstory.com/2015/07/watch-megachurch-pastors-creepy-pray-the-gay-away-event-somebody-fondled-you-somebody-raped-you/First let me say that the label 'Creepy' is a false media hype. It is not what you think and I see little here that is 'creepy. This particular video just grabbed my attention. Also let me say that I know absolutely nothing of this man, his ideology, his Church or anything else about him, so I had no pre conceived notions about his views. As always, there are some things he says that I don't necessarily agree with, however there are MANY that I do. I've scoured the internet watching, listening to opinions from the pulpit on the Gay Marriage ruling and they run the gamit from liberal to ultra conservative. I even saw one site where a 'minister' wanted all gays immediately flung into the pits of everlasting hell, no questions asked. This is a rather lengthy video, so if you decide to watch it, please watch it at your leisure, do not pick out isolated clips. Watch it i it's entirety. The point he made distinguishing the difference between sins of the flesh and sins of the spirit caught my attention. I just found Ron Carpenter to have hit on several points worth watching.

I read your link to this guy. There are a couple things I guess he needs to clarify; first he said this: “Sin don’t have a gene,” he opined. “I disagree with people who say you can’t be born that way… an infant predisposed to alcoholism, an infant already predisposed to never holding down a relationship, an infant already predisposed to panic attacks, an infant predisposed to diabetes, and infant already predisposed to a twisted lifestyle.” The problem is that diabetes is a disease, an infant is not predisposed to it, it is a mutation of a gene that prevents the pancreas to produce insulin. Also I have seen good families with solid loving relationship have a child that later in life could never hold a relationship, that again is no predisposition. I don't understand his statement that an infant is predisposed to a twisted lifestyle. Children learn from parents, other relatives, siblings, and friends. It is a learned behavior. Now your urban child can be predisposed due to the conditions they live in, no relationship, bad schools, poverty, dropping out of school, and a gang mentality. Second: “I think with homosexuality, something got planted that wasn’t supposed to be there, somewhere in your bloodline or your family, something got planted,” he insisted. “Something God didn’t want there, something God didn’t intend. And the twist began. And every generation commits the sins greater than their father committed it. For the reason you can dance in the street is because your father had to hide in a closet.” Again this is something that I have never heard before, 'something got planted'? I do have to disagree with his statement that sins are greater than their father committed, I mean there were some really horrid sins committed that their offspring did not commit. And as far as a reason I might dance in the street is due to the block party and good music going on, my dad never hid in any closet unless it was to hide from my mom when she was on a rampage! I agree with a lot of what he says but he over simplifies it. I think homosexuality is complex and different for every person. I still feel that a person wanting someone of the same gender has got something wrong and farther I don't think they should be catered to.

I agree with a lot of what he says but he over simplifies it. I think homosexuality is complex and different for every person. I still feel that a person wanting someone of the same gender has got something wrong and farther I don't think they should be catered to. We get a couple teens or young adults every month. Most are torn between some sexual orientation, and they haven't tried to be with someone of the same sex. Some are confused and some are dead set that they are homosexuals. With the young adults who have had sexual relations with someone of the opposite sex have negative feelings afterward and that can be confusing to some. What is worse is a child who was born and the Birth Certificate says they are a girl but they have a penis and testicles. It is a fight for them since the county and state say they are one sex but physically they are another. I don't think they want to be catered to, they just want what everybody else wants. We won't hear anything else unless people push to make them illegal and unequal.
