For years every time I have a cookout or on Thanksgivings or Christmas everyone in my family is invited. A few weeks ago my brother had a cookout, one of his kids graduated from high school. I was not invited.
Should I reciprocate by not inviting them over for the holidays? It might have been an over site, I don't know. I refuse to car bomb them.

Do as you please,... however, bringing something like that to someone's attention is bad form in my opinion.
As far as not inviting them to your next gathering, that's not my call either, However if it were me, I'd invite them as if nothing had happened, Carrying grudges accomplishes nothing but more hard feelings.
I don't give things like that a second thought.
