2014 started out good for us, the first day that is. January 2nd everything started happening. Then it was one thing after another. First I got Cletus, that has been an adventure. Then a family member lost her job, so any ideas of saving any money for awhile is out of the question, then my sister's son moved back in with her, not good news. In between our washer broke, so we had to get a new one, right after that the knob come off of our new dryer, have to have the repair man come by soon as we are using a pair of pliers to turn it on. We bought a new knob, but it doesn't work right. Our dog snuck out of the yard, got hit by a car and had to be put down. I just hope this is not an indication of what the rest of the year is going to be like. What has your new year been like?

It's been the coldest winter in years, there are at least 4 snows on the ground and I'm ready for Spring. One of my brother's boys got sent to Efghanistan, that's a constant worry. Other then those, things are clicking along fairly normal.

I will remember to pray for your brother's boy, God keep him safe and sound. You have a hero in your family! How proud you must be.
