I find the Hindu idea that this universe is part of God's dreams to be interesting.
As you know, I don't believe in a soul, since I am a monist. One substance, no dualism. If there is such a thing as a soul, and I do not rule it out, then it may be something that emerges from our thoughts and feelings as our life story unfolds, something that develops.
Perhaps, if there is a God, and we are part of its dreams, it does not communicate with us at all, but recalls us a characters in the story woven by its dreams. In which case, it may behoove us to try to be interesting and endearing characters. Perhaps, as Shakespeare said, we are just actors in a play.
Eternity is a long time, and may, even for God, be dull.

I heard a man speak one time and he believed that there was no right or wrong. Hindu, Jewish, Catholic it made no difference. You would be judged by what you believed.

IMO, we won't be judged at all. We won't even exist to be judged. We will once again be part of the universe or/and universal mind from whench we emerged.
That does not mean that evil does not exist, however, IMO; the existence of evil is another issue entirely. Evil, IMO, is a human term, and an entirely valid one, insofar as we are concerned.

IMO we will each be judged by our good works, how we treat each other, how we interact with our fellow man.

I learned a very important lesson about prayer. I have always believed along the Kenneth E. Hagin way of praying. You pray and believe, to pray again would destroy your first prayer. I now feel this was the wrong way to pray.
I prayed for 2 years about a certain thing...the impossible and got it. I got a small glimpse of how big God is and what measures he will go to when answering prayer.
Never underestimate what God can and will do for you.
