Another KW sunset. No special effects, just the way the light was shining.

That's an unusual picture Isn't it ? It looks photo shopped, but I assure you it's not. I took this one with my little Olympus from the deck of a boat returning back to KW at sunset It's one on my favorites.

It should be. It's unusual enough to appear in a magazine.

Thank you both.
I have so many photos. I've always been the designated family photographer, excuse me, the family 'picture taker', since I've had no formal training, most is just pure luck.
I've been looking for a photo I took with my Pentax over ten years ago, I haven't found it but I'll keep on trying, that's a task since I literally have about twenty huge old fashioned albums. That's where I store all my photos pre digital age. I know I should upload them all, but that would be a monumental undertaking. I would have to scan the one I'm speaking of since it's not digital.
I was lucky enough to catch a lightning strike over the ocean from just outside our condo in Port Orange. It's beautiful and the colors are so vivid.. You usually have to have a high speed lens to capture lightning since it's so quick, but again I guess I was just lucky that day.
I've tied numerous times to catch a space shuttle launch.. no luck. That would take some high quality equipment and a lot of expertise. The launches are so fast, it's hard to even keep track with the human eye.
Weather is one of my favorite subjects. Here in Fl, it can change on a dime and nature can put on a show at no charge..

That one picture with the boats I'm using as my wallpaper. If I'm not mistaken I had the camera set to sepia, or the colors would have been much more vivid. I like to play around with all the bells and whistles. Of course, I have no idea what I'm doing.
