I'm sick and tired of multi-millionaire politicians saying we need to keep the families of murdered children in our thoughts and prayers, and doing nothing else until they say the same thing the next time it happens.

Arizona man kills wife because she startled him.... Family mourns Ballet Arizona dancer shot, killed in Tempe; husband arrested"
Arizona Husband Allegedly Admits to Shooting His Ballerina Wife Twice in the Middle of Night and Killing Her …
May 23, 2022, 10:04 PM. A man is facing a murder charge after police say he shot his wife early in the morning, telling officers that his wife “startled” him.
This is why we can't give up our guns. We might need to kill someone and a gun makes it easy. It is our God-given right to kill other people if they are inconvenient, or make us angry. A gun makes it less likely that the victim will be able to inflict pain on us and possibly prevent their death. The Colt 45 was called the equalizer because it made the puny coward into a killer. Those who oppose gun control are puny cowards who imagine needing a gun to control and kill others. The deaths of school children are just an inconvenience, a necessary evil.

I am not opposed to guns. I own guns. I carry a gun. I just don't believe I should be able to go out or go online and buy a deadly weapon as if I was buying a package of socks. People have to take a written test, practice under the guidance of an instructor and take a road test to be allowed to operate a motor vehicle. There's needs to be stricter regulations before someone can own a firearm. Being 17 one day and 18 the next day shouldn't be the only qualifier to be able to go out and buy a weapon of mass destruction.

We will not be able to use the methods that all other nations use to control gun murders. However, artificial intelligence robots will be able to control it soon. They will be able to disable an attacker before the attacker can aim the gun. The robot will blow off the hand of the attacker. Then it will call the ambulance and send a report and video to the police department. The robot will look and act just like a human. They will move very fast though when an attacker's gun is detected. Security systems at public institutions will do the same without the need for a robot. A grocery store in Buffalo would have a mess to clean up in the parking lot, before the first woman was shot.

Heads need to roll in Texas. The Incident Commander who held back officers from entering that school should be indicted if recent accounts of what happened are accurate. Active shooter training says just the opposite. I heard on a newscast a recording of a dispatcher telling officers on the scene to not go in. That makes me think someone of high authority was at that dispatch center giving orders. That decision is always the decision of on-scene officers regardless of their rank. When you have sufficient manpower, usually 3-4 officers, you go in immediately and kill the bastard.
