Jehovah Witnesses have some good points to make. They attach importance to knowing the secret name of God. (Did you ever hear the song about Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego - there is a line that says "3,000 angels sing the name that mortals may not know.") They also attach importance to the time period of 1260 days mentioned in the book of Revelation, even correctly interpreting it to mean 1260 years. However they missed the message in the parable of the owner of the vineyard who sent his son. It is found in pretty much the same version in the Matthew, Mark, and Luke Gospels. After stating that the son the father sent to collect some of the grapes, is killed by the tenants Jesus asks what the Father will do. Luke says that Jesus said "He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others."
Mark says "What then will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others."
Matthew says 40Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard returns, what will he do to those tenants?” 41“He will bring those wretches to a wretched end,” they replied, “and will rent out the vineyard to other tenants who will give him his share of the fruit at harvest time.”
In all of these Jesus is predicting the advent of his father, he is not predicting the return of himself.
This negates all the Christian religions that predict the return of Jesus.
So, who was the notable religious leader who made His advent 1260 years after Jesus was killed?
This is the important thing that Christians must consider.

I though we were talking about the christian faith wise ass. Well, well, well. I thought my question was appropriate as she posted the identical thread on her food forum. No one replied so she posted it here. Sorry it got your undies all bunched up.
