Actually that isn't their religion, or even close. Islam teaches tolerance. It is the extremists and Christians that have distorted their beliefs.

At the beginning of my post were some passages (109) gleaned from the quran. In my copy of 669 pages of that written instrument of beliefs, I can affirm that those passages exist. Be that as it may, the complete article can be found with all of the 76 end notes here: www.studytoanswer.net/myths_ch8.html

Like the bible, Christians pick and choose what they want to believe or profess which is why there are so many different sects in Christianity. Few if any that actually follows the teachings of Jesus. Very similar unfortunately in Islam. Mohammad taught tolerance, love, faith....many of the things that Jesus taught...but twisted by their followers.

Islam is rooted in Judaism. They believe that Jesus existed and that Jesus shall return. They give Jesus the name Isa.
"Isa Ibn Maryam (Arabic: عيسى بن مريم, translit. ʿĪsā ibn Maryām; English: Jesus, son of Mary), or Jesus in the New Testament, is considered to be a Messenger of God and al-Masih (the Messiah) in Islam"
Now Buddhism is not an Abrahamic religion. However, Jesus taught some of what he had learned of Buddhism in general, in specific, several of his teachings are from the Lotus Sutra, previously taught by the Buddha.
